NBA – The Nuggets pivot turns 29 this February 19. A look back at his last Finals, against the Heat, of which he had logically elected MVP unanimously.

He was the first center to win this trophy since Shaq in 2002! And the 6th non-American player to be elected Finals MVP after Hakeem Olajuwon, Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Dirk Nowitzki and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

This time, he was not mistaken, and Nikola Jokic was therefore unanimously elected: 11 votes out of 11 possible.
Over the entire playoffs, Nikola Jokic was even the leader in total points (600), rebounds (269) and assists (190). A great first in NBA history! He finished these 2023 playoffs with 30.0 points, 13.5 rebounds and 9.5 assists per game. Very close to a triple-double average, as in the regular season.
