NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah’s Top 50 Prospect Rankings 2.0: North Carolina’s Drake Maye and LSU’s Jayden Daniels Slip in the Big Board

North Carolina’s Drake Maye and LSU’s Jayden Daniels each slipped one spot in the newest big board for NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah.

Maye came in at No. 5, with Daniels following one spot later at No. 6. USC star Caleb Williams, meanwhile, continues to hold strong in the top spot.

Here’s Jeremiah’s top 10:

Daniel Jeremiah Big Board 2.0

  • Caleb Williams, QB, USC
  • Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State
  • Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
  • Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
  • Drake Maye, QB, North Carolina
  • Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU
  • Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia
  • Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama
  • Joe Alt, OT, Notre Dame
  • Taliese Fuaga, OT, Oregon State
  • This is the lull in draft season that doesn’t see a ton of movement on draft boards because there isn’t any new evidence on which to reassess opinions of a player. The 2023 season is over and the NFL Scouting Combine is days away from opening in Indianapolis. Once the combine is completed and players take part in their school’s pro day, things will inevitably shift a bit.

A pair of cornerbacks were big risers in Jeremiah’s new big board. Toledo’s Quinyon Mitchell climbed four spots to No. 15, while Clemson’s Nate Wiggins went from 30th to 25th.

Oregon center Jackson Powers-Johnson made a reasonably big jump too, moving from 35th to 29th. West Virginia center Zach Frazier (No. 32) had a nearly identical ascent.

For now, the trio of Williams, Maye and Daniels all look like safe bets to be top-five picks. They were the first three players taken in Bleacher Report’s most recent 2024 mock.

There was a wide gap between Daniels and the next quarterback, Oregon’s Bo Nix (No. 26). Michigan star J.J. McCarthy (No. 27) was the only other QB among the top 32 players, and Washington’s Michael Penix Jr. (No. 38) rounded out the position.

Thanks to how much quarterbacks are coveted come draft time, Nix, McCarthy and Penix could all plausible be first-round picks in April.
