Thomas Müller reached a real milestone in the FC Bayern jersey in the Bundesliga game against Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday afternoon. Munich’s star striker Harry Kane has meanwhile secured the next record in his first season in German football’s upper house.
The list of records that Thomas Müller has set in his career is long. With a total of 33 titles – 32 of them in the FC Bayern jersey – the 2014 world champion is already the most successful German footballer of all time. His 32 titles with Munich and twelve German championships are also records.
The 34-year-old was able to celebrate the next milestone in his career in the 3-1 win in the Bundesliga duel against Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday. In his 690th competitive game for Munich, the 34-year-old broke the barrier of 500 competitive game wins with his heart club.
Müller was back in the starting line-up for the German record champions for the first time since the 3-0 home win against TSG Hoffenheim on January 12th.
