Meet the New Coach Bringing Energy to the MJC Badminton Club

Since 1992, the MJC has offered a badminton club. This sport promotes the child’s psychomotor development and preserves their joint structures through the use of very light equipment (shuttlecock and racket). This year, Patricia Gardes is assisted by a new coach Béatrice Chan-Noon-Chung. She brings new energy to the club through her experience and a background in sports studies at Pôle France Orléans and STAPS in Dijon.

Holder of a master’s degree and licenses in sports training and sports management, she took care of the physical preparation of the women’s group of the Pôle Espoir Judo of the Burgundy league.

But finding herself unemployed, she converted to osteopathy. For two and a half years, she has now divided herself between her osteopath’s practice in Lot et Garonne and badminton training, a passion that she likes to share with children and which she has practiced for more than 20 years.

At 38, Béatrice has found her balance: being able to care for and train children in a club while continuing to compete in the veteran category at the Montauban Badminton Club.

Maybe this will awaken a desire for competition in the children of the MJC Badminton club?
