Officially a Bulls player, Lonzo Ball is however far from returning to the court today. The latest news about him is also alarming in Illinois.
Long promised a bright future in the NBA, it is clear that Lonzo Ball is a bitter failure. Not necessarily the fault of the leader, victim of repeated injuries to his knees. In January 2022, he went on the operating table to repair his meniscus and get rid of his problems: without success.
Lonzo Ball’s career threatened?
While the Bulls aren’t sure they’ll bring him back, Ball is still a long way from a return. Already announced forfeit for the entire season months ago, the leader is still not fit to race according to journalist Joe Cowley. The medical staff was hopeful in January, but we must believe that Lonzo is behind schedule.

Lonzo Ball still can’t run. He has not played since January 14, 2022.
Big concern for Ball, whose career could simply be over. This may seem exaggerated and yet, the point guard will probably spend 3 years without playing in the NBA in the best case scenario. At least if he is fit next October for the new season. But nothing has been decided at this stage.

It’s been an eternity since Lonzo Ball stepped on an NBA floor, and that won’t change for a very long time. The leader still cannot run and some are talking about possible retirement. In any case, a decision will have to be made.
