National squad athletes Matilda Wamhof up to 48kg and Musa Löwen up to 73kg were particularly impressive in winning the title. The latter took impressive revenge in the final for a defeat in the state championship final. Julia King up to 78kg, Lilian Bücker up to 52kg and Nikita Schulz were happy about winning the silver medal. The youngest participant Felix Zimmermann also brought the bronze medal up to 46kg with him to Osnabrück.
In the U21, Alexander Babendererde also secured the runner-up title up to 81kg and thus also secured his ticket to the German Championships in Frankfurt an der Oder. DM favorite Finn Luka, Reddig, Thore Meyer and Daniel Gergert, who were unable to qualify, had bad luck with injuries.
