Lebanon’s foreign ministry has expressed concern over the recent bombing of Syria and Iraq by the US forces.
The ministry said on X that Beirut regretted the resulting deaths and injuries due to the attacks.
“We call for restraint and respect for the security, sovereignty and safety of all countries,” it said.
The statement said that Lebanon have repeatedly warned all the sides of the danger of the expansion of the war and the conflict.
On Thursday night, the US military launched dozens of air strikes against targets in Syria and Iraq in a retaliation for a drone attack that killed three soldiers at a remote US base in Jordan in late January.
