Kristina Pruccoli is golden. The San Marino native became European archery champion yesterday in the ‘bare bow’ specialty, effectively the form without sights and stabilizers. A real feat, but one that shouldn’t be surprising.
In fact, to grab the most precious metal, Pruccoli managed to follow a path of excellence. In Varazdin, Croatia, it was a hard-fought and passionate final between the Biancazzurra and the Italian Chiara Noziglia, in which the San Marino athlete triumphed 6-4 thanks to her five ’10’ hits.

Two years ago, when they told me that there was an athlete in the United States who wanted to represent San Marino in archery, I would never have imagined that we could reach the top of Europe.
