Karl-Anthony Towns Makes All-Star Game History with 50-Point Performance

Karl-Anthony Towns took full advantage of his All-Star Game and seized the opportunity to make the history of this event. He was boiling with 50 points in 27 minutes and an energy that did good in this somewhat gloomy evening.

The punchline is easy. 50 points for KAT in a defeat, it’s already happened. But at the All-Star Game… little significance all the same. The punchline is easy but not necessarily justified since the interior of the Wolves brightened up this evening. The only one who can boast of having sweated a little, the only one who can boast of having reached a top speed high enough to create wind. A dynamic student in a very dissipated Western class… in which he has also completely justified his place (or not).

A first action where pleasantries are exchanged with Anthony Edwards, no one wants to shoot in Minnesota. We note it because it will be the only hesitation to come out of the match for Karl-Anthony Towns. Three rather human quarters despite good will and a Eurostep which sent Giannis back to Milwaukee, 19 points before the last quarter, in short KAT which kat.

The fourth quarter, on the other hand, will be HIS, despite his team’s defeat. Big tomars, a few 3-pointers from far away and a big smile every time he comes back on “defense”. 31 points in this last act, most of which in the last four minutes, and the 50 point mark reached. The haters will say stat padding but that’s still fifty points, FIFTY POINTS. The rider at the very end does not pass but Charles-Antoine was one of the main players in this match and is part of the history books of the All-Star Game.

Fourth player in history to score 50 points or more with Anthony Davis (52), Stephen Curry (50) and Jayson Tatum (55), there is a pattern that emerges in terms of era but let’s move on. He is also the only one of this quartet not to have been MVP of the match… The punchline is definitely very easy.

Karl-Anthony Towns just became the fourth player in NBA history to score 50 points in an All-Star game, joining:
