A person was killed in the USA when shots were fired at the big parade celebrating the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory. Nine others were injured in the incident. Two armed suspects were arrested.

The Kansas City Chiefs’ big parade after their fourth Super Bowl title was overshadowed by a serious incident. Shots were fired on the sidelines of the event on Wednesday. Several people were shot in the city of Kansas City, Missouri, the police said on X, formerly Twitter.

A fire department spokesman said one person was killed and at least nine others were injured. Three of them were in mortal danger and five were seriously injured.

Police said two armed suspects were arrested.

TV images showed how the event site was evacuated. According to police, the shots were fired near the train station near a parking garage. It was unclear whether the crime was connected to the victory parade.
