More than 140 judokas representing various clubs in the State of Veracruz will gather in the city of Xalapa to participate in the Judo State Selective, which is the road to the Conade 2024 National Games.

The venue will be at the International Velodrome starting at 10 in the morning, where girls, boys and young people will meet, who will seek to qualify for the Veracruz state team.
Some athletes began to arrive between Tuesday and Wednesday to acclimatize to the city and be part of the weighing ceremony in which the president of the specialty, Juliana Palma Valerio, was present.
Starting on Tuesday, the tatami mats arrived in the city of Xalapa to be installed in the large competition area that will be in the Velodrome located between Bolivia Avenue and Circuito Presidentes with access to the municipality of Coatepec.
Categories of the Judo State Selective 2024
According to the competition program, there will be three categories of both branches in which the eliminatory will take place, it will be 2011-2010 for judokas aged 13 and 14, while in 2009-2007 competitors from 15 to 17 will take part. years, in 2006-2004 it will be for athletes between 18 and 20 years old.
Without a doubt, this event will be of great relevance, as it will bring together the strongest exponents in the aforementioned categories who will arrive in search of their ticket to represent Veracruz in the next Conade 2024 National Games.
Several elements from this city will meet in Xalapa, in addition to representatives from the northern zone such as Poza Rica, Coatzacoalcos and Minatitlán from the southern zone, while in the central zone, there will be competitors from the city of Córdoba, Nogales, Boca del Río and Veracruz.
There will also be representation from Altotonga, Banderilla, José Cardel, Lerdo de Tejada, Xico, Tres Valles, Santiago Tuxtla, Coscomatepec, among others.
