Inter Milan managed to crush AS Roma. That’s expected Massimiliano Allegri make Juventus increasingly motivated to win against Udinese.
Inter is currently at the top of the Italian League standings with 60 points after beating AS Roma 4-2. The Nerazzurri are seven points ahead of Juventus as second place.
Juventus faced Udinese at the Allianz Stadium, Tuesday (13/2/2024) early morning WIB. Allegri wants Juventus to be motivated to be able to cut the gap with Inter to four points again.
“Their victory should make us even more motivated to get back within four points,” said Allegri, quoted by Football Italia.
“You can lose head-to-head, it happens, and one match should not make us throw away all the good work we have done in recent months. In fact, we learned a lot from that match,” he continued.
Juventus previously lost 0-1 to Inter. Allegri felt that the meeting was actually balanced even though there was an own goal from Federico Gatti who tried to disturb Marcus Thuram.
“I analyzed, it was a balanced meeting, there was a chance for Federico Dimarco, a Marcus Thuram goal, but then we wasted Vlahovic’s chance. Wide open after the break, we threatened to score and conceded,” stressed Allegri.
