The Inter striker, who was injured during the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 against Atletico Madrid last Tuesday, underwent instrumental tests this morning which highlighted an elongation of the adductor longus in his right thigh, as announced by the Nerazzurri club.
“His conditions will be re-evaluated in the next few days”, added Inter in a note: Thuram’s stoppage should be 10-15 days, with the aim of being available between the matches against Genoa (4 March) and Bologna (the following weekend) and to return to top form for the return match against Atletico on 13 March, missing the matches against Lecce and Atalanta.
