The German Football League (DFL) has canceled the planned billion-dollar deal with an investor after ongoing fan protests. “In view of current developments, a successful continuation of the process no longer seems possible,” said DFL Supervisory Board Chairman Hans-Joachim Watzke on Wednesday.
