Felix Gall started the cycling season with a strong performance. The Tyrolean, who works for Decathlon AG2R, came fourth on Saturday at the Ardeche Classic over 168.6 kilometers and 3,000 meters in altitude.
Austria’s athlete of the year sprinted for victory in the one-day race in southern France in a leading group of four, but had to give way to the Spaniard Juan Ayuso, the Frenchman Romain Gregoire and the Dane Mattias Skjelmose. For Gall, the first big endurance test Paris – Nice continues from March 3rd.
