This weekend the first European Kata Judo tournament took place in Louvain-La-Neuve. Nearly 100 couples met to compete and try to find their feet at the start of the season.
The two members of the Judo Club Clémentin, N. Fourmaux and JD Nguyen Van Loc, registered in Katame No Kata (23 couples registered) had a lot to do to qualify for the final. 3rd in their group and last qualified, they managed to produce an excellent performance in the afternoon in the final to rank 2nd, three points from gold. A great recovery in view of the French championships which will take place in 3 weeks, during which they will try to preserve their national title.
