Schröder scored 15 points in his debut for the new club in the professional basketball league and has now improved his personal best.
The New York franchise won its first win under interim coach Kevin Ollie. “If we share the ball, we are difficult to stop,” Ollie explained during the game. Schröder also said on US television during the game: “If we play at the highest level, things are going very well for us.”
