KV Kortrijk is not having an easy time this season: they are barely 16th and the future of the club, especially financially, does not look particularly rosy.

In terms of sport, things are anything but smooth, and the Guys are not helped by their Malaysian owner, Vincent Tan. It has been looking for a potential buyer for some time, but one doesn’t seem to be coming. However, the entrepreneur recently reached an agreement with the Americans Maciek and Kaminski, but that deal was canceled at the last minute.

However, according to ‘Het Laatste Nieuws’, the owner is close to a new deal. This time with a group of Flemish entrepreneurs, but it remains to be seen whether they can pay the asking price of seventeen million.

It remains to be seen whether we will soon see a new owner at KV Kortrijk. However, the team will have to do everything possible (sportively) to play in the Jupiler Pro League next season.
