FC Bayern, News: Things are simmering at CL opponents Lazio
Unrest among Bayern Munich’s Champions League opponents Lazio Rome: Coach Maurizio Sarri has criticized club boss Claudio Lotito for the transfer strategy. “When I asked about player A, they made me choose between C and D. It wasn’t me who decided on the transfer market. Now it’s time for everyone to take their responsibility because the team is not sufficiently staffed, to play in four competitions,” said the 65-year-old.
Lazio will be visiting FC Bayern for the second leg of the round of 16 next week. The Italians won the first leg 1-0. Sarri’s criticism was not well received by many fans: there were calls for his replacement on social media.
In Serie A, Lazio is only in eighth place and is already eight points behind fourth place, which would entitle them to take part in the premier class again.
