FC Bayern could probably overhaul its squad on a large scale next summer.
The current unrest and the unusual lack of performance are forcing the German record champions to rigorously analyze their player material. According to a “Sky” report, only four players are not available.
Those professionals are star scorer Harry Kane, club legends Thomas Müller and Manuel Neuer as well as Jamal Musiala, around whom a successful team will be built in the future.
Trio probably no longer for sale
Meanwhile, Alphonso Davies, Joshua Kimmich and Leroy Sane in particular are said to have an uncertain future on Säbener Straße. The trio’s contracts only run until 2025. Sporting director Christoph Freund and Bayern’s other management have to make groundbreaking decisions in this regard.
None of these star players are considered unsaleable – ultimately, income must be generated for a grandiose squad change. Meanwhile, the departures of Eric Dier, Bouna Sarr and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting are almost certain, as their working papers are only dated until the end of the season anyway.
