After the first half of the second day of testing in Qatar, he was in first position with a time of 1’52.483 seconds Raul Fernandez (Trackhouse Racing). Given how painful his Sepang injury was, it’s a big surprise that the Spaniard ranks so high. The second was losing less than a tenth Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team), whose lap of 1’52.575 seconds was half a second slower than his best on Monday. Excellent again Pedro Acosta (Red Bull GASGAS Tech3), which was third in the order with a time of 1’52.803 seconds.

Frenchman Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP™ Team) said after Monday’s test that the Yamaha still lacked speed and rear grip. On Tuesday, he was fourth after the first half with a lap of 1’52.856 seconds, less than four tenths short of first. Top 5 closed Maverick Vinales (Aprilia Racing) with a lap in 1’52.924 seconds. The sixth was enough to fit within half a second of the first Marco Bezzecchi (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing) and seventh Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing).

The top ten fastest was completed by an eighth Enea Bastianini (Ducati Lenovo Team), ninth Marc Márquez (Gresini Racing MotoGP) and tenth Fabio Di Giannantonio (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing). The difference between the first and the tenth driver in the order was only less than six tenths. Honda was deep in the field for the time being as HRC’s top rider Takaaki Nakagami (Idemitsu LCR Honda) was nineteenth with a time of 1’54.028 seconds. He was the twenty-third Joan Mir (Repsol Honda Team), who had only driven six laps. The Spaniard had a breakdown in the first corner of the circuit, after which the red flags were displayed.

The second day of the test in Qatar was once again the fastest Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team), whose lap maximum is an incredible 1’50.952 seconds (the pole position record is 1’51.762s). The reigning world champion showed that he is fast and a force to be reckoned with. Enea Bastianini (Ducati Lenovo Team) is second with a time of 1’51.072 seconds, 0.120 seconds behind his teammate. The pair of factory Ducati riders are ready for the opening Grand Prix, however points are awarded after the races, so we will see after the Qatar GP.

The next three drivers put their times within four tenths of the first. He is in third position with a lap of 1’51.260 seconds Aleix Espargaró (Aprilia Racing), he has the fourth time Marc Márquez (Gresini Racing MotoGP) and fifth Raul Fernandez (Trackhouse Racing) who had a great performance on Tuesday.

He drove the times to tenth place Maverick Vinales (Aprilia Racing), Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing), Fabio Di Giannantonio (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing), Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) a Marco Bezzecchi (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing). The difference between the first and tenth drivers in the standings is 0.726 seconds. He recorded a fall in the end Aleix Espargaró, Johann Zarco (Castrol LCR Honda) a Jto Mr (Repsol Honda Team).
