The Dominican team will be made up of Víctor Liz, Juan Guerrero, Ángel Luis Delgado, Jean Montero, Luis Santos, Gelvis Solano, Andrés Feliz, Omar Silverio, Jassel Pérez, Eloy Vargas, Juan Miguel Suero and Jonathan Araújo, it was reported at a press conference. .
“We have a good core of players with a lot of talent and proven quality at national and international levels, who we are counting on to win against Mexico this Friday and Monday the 26th, on Aztec soil,” said Díaz.
Captain Liz was also optimistic: “I am confident that we will win against the Mexicans, we have prepared for that during team training and the extra work that many of the players do to get in shape this Friday.”

The teams of the Dominican Republic and Mexico will face each other this Friday starting at 8:10 p.m. local time (00:10 GMT on Saturday) in Santo Domingo and the return leg will take place on February 26 in Mexico City, within group C of the FIBA AmeriCup 2025 qualifiers, of which Canada and Nicaragua are also part.
