Elena Bertocchi and Chiara Pellacani step down from the world podium, without losing ambition and confidence in view of the Paris Olympics for which they have qualified since last July. At the World Championships in Doha in the three-metre synchronized diving, the Italian pair, not having one of their best days, finished eighth with 260.28 points in the final which opened the afternoon of the sixth day at the Hamad Aquatic Center.

Immediately chasing the test of the Italians – world bronze in Fukuoka 2023 and reigning European vice champions – already behind after the compulsory ones, which as always did not come due to less than optimal synchronization.

The Chinese Chang Yeni and Chen Yani win, confirming themselves as world champions despite not dominating, with 323.43 points; silver to the Australians Maddison Keeney and Anabelle Smith, absolutely to be feared at the Olympics, with 300.45 and bronze to the British Yasmin Harper and Scarlett Mew Jensen with 281.70.
