Chiefs celebrate Super Bowl title with big parade

The Kansas City Chiefs celebrated their fourth Super Bowl title with a big parade. The team around star quarterback Patrick Mahomes was loudly cheered on Wednesday by thousands of fans along a 3.22-kilometer route through Kansas City. Players and coaches traveled in a red double-decker bus. Since many schools remained closed for the day, there were also many children among the fans.

The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers 25:22 after overtime in Las Vegas on Sunday in an exciting National Football League final. The Chiefs had previously won the Vince Lombardi Trophy in 1970, 2020 and 2023.

According to the media, superstar Taylor Swift did not accompany her boyfriend Travis Kelce at the parade, unlike on Sunday. As several portals consistently reported, the singer has already landed in Melbourne, Australia, where she is performing on Friday evening. In the run-up to the Super Bowl, Swift made headlines because she traveled from Tokyo especially for the game.
