After three stages of nomination, selection and final review, six “Outstanding Athletes” were selected for this year’s China Basketball Hall of Fame. Among them, three male athletes are Huang Baoling, Zhang Weiping and Kuang Lubin, and three female athletes are Li Shihua, Liu Qing and Li Xin. Liu Guiyi and Chen Daohong were admitted as “Outstanding Coaches”, and Gong Peishan was admitted as a “Special Contributor”. In the 1992 Olympic Games, the Chinese Women’s Basketball Team and the “Eighth Route Army 120th Division Combat Basketball Team” were admitted as “Excellent Group” and “Special Tribute Group” respectively.
