The organization has announced that there are finally three categories with Spanish nominations for this XXV edition of these international sports awards, they are the international soccer players. For its part, the women’s soccer teamafter winning her first World Cup last summer, has been nominated in the category of “Best team” along with Manchester City, the German men’s basketball team, the European Ryder Cup team, the Red Bull F-1 team and the South African men’s rugby team.
Among the nominees for Comeback of the Year or Best Athlete with a Disability, no Spanish athlete appears, but they do appear in the category.
