Blind Shooter from Salamanca Wins Spanish Adapted Archery Championship

New sporting success for Daniel Martín Anaya from Salamanca. This past weekend, the blind shooter was proclaimed champion of Spain in the VI-1 visual disability category during the 2024 Spanish Adapted Archery Championship held in Langreo (Asturias).

“I want to thank, as always, my parents, my brother, my physical trainer, Richard Huerta, my coach Javier Salamanca, none of this would be possible, my club, Arco Tormes, you trusted me, and thank you,” said the charro athlete on his social networks.

Daniel beat Cristina Martínez-Roldán, from Asturias, in the semifinals, 6-2, and in the fight for gold, Enriqueta Justo Valdés, also from Asturias, by the same final result. The bronze in this category went to Antonio Manuel Hermida, from Galicia.
