Laughter in the group, who of course objected. Bamberg’s Kevin Wohlrath (29) says why the Baskets will win the cup: “Because we go in as blatant outsiders and have nothing to lose! We play without pressure, nobody expects us to win the cup. That can be an advantage.”
Jonas Matisseck (24) from Alba Berlin is convinced of the title, “because now, in the middle of the season, we are much closer together than we were at the beginning of the season. And because now is a good moment for such a great push and to grab a title early in the season.”

All basketball fans will be able to follow those who follow their sayings with actions on Saturday. Then Bamberg and Bayern as well as Alba and Ulm will meet in the semi-finals (live from 1.30 p.m. on Dyn/DISP). The winners will play the final on Sunday.
