The Dominican judoka, representative of the Valencian Judo Federation, won the gold medal in Gyor confirming a title that certifies his great sporting present. Ariel defeated the polish Natalia Kropska in the decisive fight to climb to the top of the European podium.

In the semifinals, she beat the Belgian Alessia Corrao while in the quarterfinals she beat the Ukrainian Julia Hrebenozhko. Previously, in the preliminary phase, they began their path to the title with two victories against Adel Clement (Hungary) and Anastasia Antipina (Ukraine).
