Málaga will have a leading role with the organization of the two junior Andalusian Championships, the previous step to the elite. Estepona will host the women’s event from April 2 to 7, while Victory Corner It will do so with men’s from April 9 to 14. Unicaja always starts as a favorite in both categories, although Estepona has also won the title in the women’s category. It will be a good opportunity to see the best values of Andalusian basketball up close.
Besides, Punta Umbria (from April 16 to 21) will host the female cadet and the male cadet will again be in San Fernando (April 23 to 28). The women’s children’s competition will be from May 7 to 12 in Punta Umbría and Cartaya and the men’s, from May 14 to 19 in La Line of Conception. The smallest ones are left for last. The men’s Mini will be from May 28 to June 2 in the same town in Cadiz, while the women’s will be from June 4 to 9 in San Fernando.
The Andalusian Club Championships, CADEBA 2024, bring together the 16 best teams in Andalusia (provincial champion and runner-up of each of the 8 provinces) ensuring the dispute of at least 3 matches and a maximum of 6.
The tournament, in each category, is divided into four groups of four teams that will face each other in the league in a round-robin round, with the two best in each group qualifying for the quarterfinals and playing one-match playoffs until the end of the championship. .
