His father has been arrested for this alleged mistreatment but has been released

No details have been released regarding the baby’s injuries or how she arrived or who took her to the hospital.

A baby with barely 16 days of life, without even reaching still a month Since her birth, she has been admitted to critical condition in Malaga.

The little one was hospitalized in the Maternal and Child unit on Thursday, February 1. Upon receiving health care, the doctors suspected that the lesions that had could allegedly proceed of mistreatment. Therefore, they activated the corresponding protocol for these cases. The same sources point out that they managed everything to inform the National Police and to the courts.

Baby’s father released

The National Police, through the Minors Group (Grume), has been in charge of arresting him and placing him at the disposal of the court during the investigation of an alleged case of abuse. This has left him in provisional release.

On the other hand, sources from the Department of Social Inclusion, Families and Equality of the Junta de Andalucía consulted by Europa Press have indicated that from the day of admission, the abandonment of the little girl was decreed, as well as provisional guardianship.

Health sources have detailed that it is a girl from Malaga capital, less than a month old, and that since her admission and, given the suspicion of mistreatment by health professionals, the appropriate protocol was applied and the part to the National Police and courts.
