XV of France: Matthieu Jalibert trained separately in Marcoussis

After two lighter first days of gathering, the Blues returned to training with intensity this Wednesday in Marcoussis, nine days before the opening match of the Six Nations Tournament against Ireland, Friday February 2 in Marseille . During the afternoon session, Matthieu Jalibert did not take part in the collective exercises, contenting himself with separate running exercises in an in-goal area with a physiotherapist.

No apparent discomfort for the Bordeaux player, victim of a small cut on his left hand (three stitches) and who hit a few kicks in the second part of the session. Nothing worrying for the one who should, barring a problem, start at the opening against the Irish.

Woki with the white chasuble of the substitutes

In his absence, it was Thomas Ramos who wore the number 10 flocked chasuble in the team of presumed starters, Louis Bielle-Biarrey sliding to the back and Yoram Moefana entering on a wing. Jonathan Danty and Gaël Fickou were partnered in the center, with Damian Penaud on a wing and Maxime Lucu in the scrum. Up front, the third line Ollivon-Alldritt-Cros worked together, as did the second line Willemse-Gabrillagues, Cameron Woki, the 4th starter at the World Cup, being aligned in the team with white bibs, that of the presumed replacements or out of group.

A team where we also found Julien Marchand, since it was his Toulouse teammate Peato Mauvaka who worked with the number 2 of the presumed starters, associated on the front line with Cyril Baille and Uini Atonio. Thursday’s training should allow us to find out more about this first team composition trend which is emerging to face the XV du Trèfle at the Vélodrome.
