PSG, favorite for the Cup
Paris and Lyon invited each other to the round of 16 of the Cup, knocking out Orléans and Bergerac respectively. If the French champions did not have too much trouble passing (4-1), Les Gones had to draw on their reserves to stretch their course.
Note also that Monaco did the job on the Rodez pitch (3-1), while Nice escaped the Bordeaux trap (3-2). The only elite team to have fallen against a lower tier team was FC Nantes against Laval (0-1).

The clash of these round of 16, pitting Rennes against Marseille, will not be played until Sunday. And the final match of this round is scheduled for Monday and it will see Montpellier travel to Feignies-Aulnoye (N2).
The draw for the rest of the competition will take place this Sunday evening at 7:45 p.m. It will be broadcast by the main broadcaster of the event.
