Victory for Porsche at the 24 Hours of Daytona

Former Formula 1 driver Felipe Nasr, Dane Cameron, Josef Newgarden and Matt Campbell achieved overall victory for Penske-Porsche in the 62nd edition of the 24 Hours of Daytona. Salzburg’s Philipp Eng took eighth place on Sunday with Jesse Krohn, Augusto Farfus and Dries Vanthoor in the BMW. Of the other Austrians, Ferdinand Habsburg and the Tower Motorsports team performed best in fifth place in the LMP2 class.

In the GTD class, Thomas Preining and his colleagues placed the Porsche from Andretti Motorsports in ninth place, while Klaus Bachler remained in twelfth place with MDK Motorsports. In the overall ranking, Habsburg is 13th, Preining 28th and Bachler 35th.
