Martin finally comes out of his Burrow
Still in training after his serious knee injury, number 7 struggled to find form when he returned to the field last October. But we felt a Martin Terrier released on Friday, during Rennes’ victory at Lyon (2-3), the one that hurts and OL did the damage. While Lyon was humming in front of the Rennes area, and the Bretons were asleep, he woke everyone up with his first goal. He felt the blow and slipped behind the defense, before finding Mandanda’s net with a daring strike from a tight angle. Author of a double before half-time from a corner, Terrier signed his return against his former club.

Gifted the will-o-the-wisp
Much like his attacking colleague, the international hopefuls have been poison for Lovren, Maitland-Niles, O’Brien and company. He was Terrier’s first servant, assisting on his first goal. The player trained in Rennes took plenty of time to think, using Kalimuendo’s call to launch his partner into the depths. 15 minutes later, he knocked out Lyon with a powerful but precise strike. Even though he faded in the second half, the 18-year-old winger was poison.

Still the same observation for Cherki
Pierre Sage gave his young attacking midfielder complete freedom, but Cherki was unable to exploit it. However, the majority of Lyon’s actions went through him, except that once in possession of the ball, the number 18 attempted complicated gestures when it was necessary to keep it simple, and missed easy passes, preventing the actions from developing properly. At halftime, Sage corrected the situation and chose to take it out. In the second period, Lyon was sharper and scored twice. A random ?
Fofana too tender for his home premiere
The new Lyon recruit made a good debut in the Coupe de France against Bergerac, a National 2 club, but the serious things began this Friday in Ligue 1. And the Belgian hope was not up to the task.
