The Rise of Badminton Club Kemperle (BCK) as a Veteran’s Championship Leader

Since it organized the French veterans championship in 2018, the Badminton club Kemperle (BCK) has become one of the references in the category and bad players over 35 have made the Master veterans of Quimperlé the one of the unmissable points of passage of their season. There were 144 of them for the fourth edition organized Saturday and Sunday in the Salle des Cordiers.

178 matches

More than the quest for performance, it is the pleasure of playing that predominates among veterans who like to get together. “All the participants highlighted the good playing conditions, the good organization with a respected deadline and above all a refreshment bar stocked with volunteers who are always in a good mood and attentive,” summarizes Jacky Hamoniaux, the president of the BCK, for whom this organization ideally launches the year 2024 which will not lack events. In two days, 178 matches divided into 19 singles and doubles tables were played on the seven playing mats set up at Les Cordiers with up to eight hours of non-stop matches from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for the day of SATURDAY.
