The “La Foresta che advancing” Association expresses its thanks and offers concrete support to the Municipality of Grottaferrata, which, after years of reporting to previous administrations, is committed to reclaiming path 508. This path, which for years has been in a state of such degradation as to prevent its use by residents of the Castelli Romani area, today it finally sees a positive turning point.
Today not only is our association celebrating a great victory, but all citizens in the vicinity of the splendid park will finally have the opportunity to enjoy it without the fear of dangerous illegal fires, as demonstrated in the blitz conducted by our activists, which led to the identification of an individual caught red-handed while setting fire to a significant amount of waste piled up in the area of the path.
Special thanks go to councilor Lorenzo Letta, whose proposal made it possible to monitor the area through municipal video surveillance cameras. These projects undertaken by the administration, which would never have seen the light without the commitment and dedication of those who love the area in which they live and want to protect it, are a fundamental step for our forests.
Reiterating our thanks to all those who contributed to this initiative, we renew our commitment and concrete support to the protection and defense of our green areas.”
