Officially created in 1982, the Meudon Hockey Club (MHC, its historical name) lived for a long time in D 2, the third national level. But after a change of presidency and the arrival of Dominique Hervé eight years ago, the Comètes aimed higher, the D 1. “I took over a club of enthusiasts who had experienced a good rise in D 2, but who had got his feet wet with financial holes. We first tried to survive, to maintain the team, before changing perspective,” he tells us.
