Alarm returned for Aleksander Aamodt Source who yesterday was the victim of a terrible accident in the downhill race in Wengen. The skier was transported to hospital by helicopter after being stranded due to cuts caused by his skis. He had feared the worst but luckily the Norwegian athlete is well and announced it on his social mediaposting a photo with girlfriend Mikaela Shiffrin.

Initially it was thought to be a displaced fracture of the femur. In reality it is “only” a cut on the leg, as well as a dislocated shoulder and obvious abrasions on the face. After the accident the forecast was that the season was over for Kilde, but now there is a good chance that he will be able to return in the not too long time.
