Ten days of training camp in sunny Malta are over, Vienna Austria will return home on Thursday.
After a final training session on their own training grounds, the players get a weekend off – rightly so, as coach Michael Wimmer thinks: “They deserve it, they didn’t have a day off in the training camp. I have seen a team here that in every session “We were willing and pushed ourselves to the limits of our performance. We found very good conditions in Malta, the training grounds and the hotel were great.”
The “Veilchen” played three test matches in Valletta, none of which were lost.
