Successful Start to the Year for Boetian Archery Competitors

The first week of January saw preparation courses offered to young Boetian competitors who started competitions last weekend.

At the very beginning of the year, two technical executives from the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Regional Archery Center (CRNATA), Patrick Lebeau (regional technical executive) and Aurélie Gedj in Dejeps training, brought their complementary skills. The two courses took place at the same time with some interactions. On the program, physical and technical strengthening, adjustment of equipment, breathing workshop with Benoit, recreational archer and also freediver who has voluntarily shared his knowledge and breathing and meditation exercises since the start of the school year.

A mid-season review was carried out in preparation for upcoming events: January 27-28 – departmental championship in Boé, February 3-4 – league championship in Rochefort and February 23 to 25 – French championship in Grenoble.

The first victories of the year

Last weekend the young archers as well as some seniors were competing in Auros (Gironde): U13 boy, recurve bow – 1st Ruben Cedo, U15 boy, recurve bow – 1st Oscar Lopez, U18 girl, recurve bow – 3rd Julie Cedo , 5th Elorri Sirbe, 6th Aigline Moreau, U18 boy recurve bow – 1st Léo Defèvre, Senior 1 man, recurve bow: 1st Lucas Defèvre, Senior 3 man, compound bow: 5th Alain Daste. In Arcachon Alexane Priarollo finished 3rd in U15 girls, recurve.
