Success and Challenges at the Asturias Absolute Championship: TOSCAF FINAL STRAIGHT Athletes Shine

On Saturday morning, the Asturias Absolute Championship of 3000 m/l was held in Las Mestas (Gijón), both in the men’s and women’s categories.
The sub 18 and sub 20 athletes of the TOSCAF FINAL STRAIGHT participated.
The young athlete (first year under 18) MARTINA GAVILAN won the bronze medal in a race with 23 participants of all ages. From the start she placed herself in third place in the race and remained there until reaching the finish line. She was the only female representative of the CLUB in this championship.
In the men’s section, the Under 18s ADRIAN BORRA and DIEGO CAMPO participated on the track for the first time. A difficult debut in a high-level competition. And the other representative of the Luarquén team was the Sub 20 MAURO GAVILAN who was the winner of his series.
