The Soria-CS24 Badminton Club will begin the 2024 campaign by participating in the Tenerife Senior International Tournament and with the first scoring event for the national ranking in lower categories.
The Tenerife town of Los Realejos will be the headquarters of the Spanish International Open for the senior category belonging to the calendar of the European federation.
The Soriano club will be represented by Santiago Martinez who will compete in the singles, men’s doubles and mixed doubles, being one of Spain’s great assets to obtain medals.
On the other hand, the club’s youth team will go to Vitoria where five players will debut in the under-15 category, posing a challenge of adaptation with more experienced and physically demanding players.
The following will participate in Basque lands: Jimena Ayllón, Aarón Barrera, Álvaro Gómez, Iker González and Daniel Marín, all of them competing in the singles and doubles disciplines.
