Pascal Siakam, who is 29 years old, will become a free agent in July. He is currently earning a salary of almost million for this season.
According to sources, the Indiana Pacers have obtained Pascal Siakam, an All-Star forward, in a three-team trade that involves sending Bruce Brown, Jordan Nwora, and three first-round draft picks to the Toronto Raptors. This information was reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski on Wednesday.
The Pacers, currently holding the No. 6 spot in the Eastern Conference, have the most points scored in the NBA this season. Siakam is moving from Toronto, the top-ranked team in fast-break points per game, to Indiana, which holds the second spot.

The Pacers will play against the Raptors three additional times this season, with two of the games taking place in Toronto. Their next encounter will be on Valentine’s Day in Toronto.

Pascal Siakam, who was chosen for the All-Star team in 2020 and 2023, has maintained an average of 17.4 points and 6.5 rebounds throughout his career. He was part of the Raptors’ NBA championship win in 2019 and has been selected for the All-NBA team twice.
According to sources, the New Orleans Pelicans are the third party involved in the trade, with Kira Lewis Jr. going to the Raptors and a second-round pick being sent to the Pacers.

According to sources at ESPN, Siakam is thrilled about his new contract with Toronto and is looking forward to negotiating a new deal with the team this summer. In his eight years in the NBA, he has consistently averaged 22.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game.
Pascal’s agent, Todd Ramasar, expressed enthusiasm about his client’s opportunity to play for the Pacers alongside Tyrese Haliburton and Myles Turner, under the guidance of coach Rick Carlisle, stating that it was a first-rate opportunity.
At the age of 25, Nwora has averaged 5.2 points per game.
The Pelicans will have the opportunity to drop below the luxury tax threshold by trading Lewis.
