The criminals knew how to override the alarm and security systems of the Olis Bargalló company, in the Castellví de Rosanes industrial estate: it was a sophisticated robbery. They accessed it on the night of Sunday to Monday with a truck, where they loaded pallets of bottles and bottles of extra virgin oil. In addition, they took the safe from the warehouse. In total, Francesc Bargalló estimates that the criminals have stolen 10,000 liters of olive oil, which on the market would be valued at more than 70,000 euros.
The businessman, who has reported the facts to the Mossos d’Esquadra, warns customers and distributors of the theft because the product could be put up for sale in the coming days. “The thieves will probably use several routes to place the product on the market,” explains Francesc Bargalló. For this reason, he asks for everyone’s cooperation in locating the stolen oil.
