Novak Djokovic loses ground at the top of the ATP rankings, Arthur Cazaux enters the top 100

Novak Djokovic will spend the 410th week of his career at the top of the ATP rankings but the competition is getting closer. Updated Monday, the new differences show a lead of 600 points for the Serbian – eliminated in the semi-finals of the Australian Open – over his runner-up Carlos Alcaraz, compared to 2,200 before the Grand Slam tournament.

Behind, Daniil Medvedev keeps third place but his tormentor in the final in Melbourne, the Italian Jannik Sinner, is gaining ground. He is only 455 points behind the Russian and above all 1545 points behind Djokovic (compared to 4565 before the tournament). The fight between these four tightens from the start of the season.

There is then a gap which separates them from Andrey Rublev and Alexander Zverev, still respectively 5th and 6th. Holger Rune gained a place and is now right on their heels, followed by the Pole Hubert Hurkacz then the American Taylor Fritz, while Stefanos Tsitsipas has fallen to 10th place.

Mannarino climbs to 17th place

On the French side, Adrian Mannarino is still the best ranked. Eliminated in the round of 16 in Australia, he moved up two places and obtained the best ranking of his career, at age 35, with a 17th place. Eliminated at the same stage of the competition, the French sensation Arthur Cazaux (21 years old) joined the top 100 by gaining 39 positions. The Montpellier is 83rd.

Ugo Humbert (now 21st) and Arthur Fils (35th) moved back one place. Luca Van Assche has won 11, he is 68th.
