On Monday, Rapid coach Robert Klauß started his first preparation with the green-whites. The German is the way people got to know him after his appointment in November: relaxed, open and approachable. He even encourages the journalists present to ask questions.
Which Rapid will we see under him in the spring? One thing is clear: the 39-year-old will not throw everything that predecessor Zoran Barisic implemented overboard.
“We won’t change that much because the team already has a lot of things in it,” explains Klauß. But there are of course things that we want to improve, “be it counter-pressing and playing against the ball and how we convert our chances into goals.”
