NBA, FFBB, and LNB Announce Joint Program for French Basketball Players

Partnership – The NBA, the FFBB and the LNB have unveiled a new joint program of competitions and training for young French basketball players.

While France continues to send young talents to the NBA, the North American league has decided to strengthen its partnerships with the various French sports authorities. Starting with “a new player development program” to train future elite LNB talents. The NBA, the French Basketball Federation (FFBB) and Betclic Elite will reveal the main points in the coming months.

Another initiative: the launch, in partnership with the UNSS, of a new Jr. NBA league. It will be from Friday, in Paris for 450 young people aged 13 and coming from at least 30 schools in the city. The league will begin with a Draft in which former international Diandra Tchatchouang and Ian Mahinmi will participate. In the spring, the NBA and the FFBB will also launch a new Jr. NBA 3×3 league in Marseille for 450 young people aged 13 and from at least 30 schools in the city.
