Two years ago, the mother of Rajon Rondo had obtained a protection order against the former Celtics and Lakers point guard, accusing him of threatening her with a gun.
Ultimately, the two camps reached an agreement, which saved the basketball player from having to go before a judge.

The police officer quickly smelled marijuana in the vehicle, and began a search of the car, finding a firearm, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Arrested, Rajon Rondo was able to come out in exchange for bail, while being charged with illegal possession of a firearm, drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana, minor offenses.
Having been the subject of a protection order, the 37-year-old basketball player is not allowed to possess a weapon.
