Miller consolidates the values and positioning of the brand in ski mountaineering and in the racing world, signing an agreement which sees for the first time the French brand as the official partner of Altitoy, one of the ski mountaineering races of La Grande Course, the prestigious stage circuit which includes the most famous super classics in the entire Alpine range and the Pyrenean Cordillera. A chain of events where the word ski mountaineering finds its true meaning and which will see professional athletes and amateur skiers of
proven experience challenging yourself on the snow among steep slopes, deep gullies, climbs with skins, aerial ridges and technical descents.

Altitoy Millet is the reference ski mountaineering competition in the Pyrenees, the debut stage of La Grande
Course on 3 and 4 February on the slopes of Barèges-Tourmalet-Pic du Midi and the Luz-Ardiden massif, in the heart of the Gavarnie Valleys. Two days of racing around the great massifs of the Hautes Pyrenees – Tourmalet, Pic du Midi, Luz Ardiden, Gavarnie – which will see the participation of big names from the international ski mountaineering scene, including the Millet team athletes Nahia Quinconces and Simon Bellabouvier.
Now in its 14th edition, the Altitoy Millet has over the years become a must for the elite of the discipline on a challenging and timed A route, but also a popular meeting with a B route offering magnificent routes on the Tourmalet and Massifs of ‘Ardiden. The 2024 edition, organized by the Altitoy Association of Luz-Saint-Sauveur, will have almost 5,000 meters of positive and negative altitude difference, will count towards the Challenge de la Grande Course and will be a stage of the Coupe des Pyrénées.
Runners and ski mountaineering enthusiasts will meet in Luz-Saint-Sauveur on Friday 2 February starting at 4pm, at the Luz-Saint-Sauveur Forum. On Saturday and Sunday it will be easy for fans to follow the runners thanks to the presence of a climb on the slopes of each station (climb to Col du Tourmalet on Saturday and to Caperette on Sunday).
Thanks to the agreement with the Altitoy organisation, the brand becomes the main sponsor of two out of six races that are part of La Grande Course: the Altitoy Millet and the Millet Tour Du Rutor Extrême, the only Italian stage of the circuit under the technical direction of mountaineer and athlete of the Millet team Marco Camandona, which will take place from 22 to 24 March on the Aosta Valley peaks of La Thuile, Valgrisenche and Arvier.
The two partnerships signed by Millet consolidate the presence of the French vertical brand within one of the most anticipated ski mountaineering events in the world and demonstrate its great commitment to ski mountaineering and ski touring in general. A commitment engraved in its DNA for over 100 years and which is the fruit of its deep bond with the mountains. A love for the mountain universe which finds space in the offer of high performance, comfort and reliability equipment designed to allow all outdoor enthusiasts to experience the mountains at 360 degrees and in total safety, while at the same time respecting the new needs of the mountains and the environment in general.
